Graphic Display Package
Tankview is a simple to operate graphic display software package running within the Windows environment. It provides the user with a clear picture in both graphic and numeric format, in either level or volume, of the current quantity of contents within any type of storage vessel. Displays are arranged in a number of windows according to tank duty; i.e. ballast, cargo, fuel oils, fresh water etc. These windows provide an overview of the current situation and from these the user may select a single tank display which provides comprehensive data for that tank alone. Single Tank Display The Tankview single tank display window enables the user to print a detailed report of the current status of that particular tank including volume, weight, density and actual level. It also enables the user to adjust the temperature, which will in turn adjust the density accordingly and correct the volume readings. It also displays the alarm settings and ullage. Tankview provides alarm reporting and logging functions, which, dependent upon the configuration, can simply provide visual warnings and reports, or may be enhanced offering outputs for remote alarm or control purposes Input Data Tankview can collect data from a variety of data acquisition sources. These include the PSM Minder series of single and multitank monitors, which, combined with our comprehensive range of transmitters provides the complete monitoring and control package. Outputs Tankview provides visual indication and recording of alarm events, these events may be used to trigger external warning devices via relay outputs A serial output protocol enables communication of formatted data to plant / shipboard management systems.
