The ultrasonic level transmitter ULTRAMETER uses sophisticated
ultrasonic pulse echo monitoring techniques to provide
non-contact measurement of liquids, slurries or sludges in open
or closed tanks.
- As there is no contact with the
measured product the Ultrameter is suitable for a wide
range of applications, from aggressive chemicals to
viscous slurries and solids.
Integral electronics control and process
the ultrasound pulses, and an inbuilt temperature sensor corrects
the 2 wire 4 to 20 mA output for ambient temperature variations.
- The Ultrameter is robustly
constructed, fully sealed in an IP68 enclosure, and
offered with a choice of mounting possibilities. The nose
section is threaded for mounting to the tank top either
directly or via a range of adaptors, and for open top
tanks and reservoirs, the Ultrameter may be simply
suspended from it's cable.
A watchdog circuit constantly monitors both
the unit and it's operating environment, and provides positive
indication of satisfactory performance, via it's integral
multifunction LED's
- All calibration data is stored in
non-volatile memory and protected against power failure
